Welcome to my Virgin adventure.
There is nothing better (in the rewards world) than booking a dream trip on points, whether its first class travel and / or luxury accommodation. So towards the end of October 19, I started looking for a rewards credit card with the aim of a luxury holiday in 2021, plus I wanted to share the road there. After looking what was available, I decided to go for the Virgin Atlantic Rewards Plus Mastercard, however it was a close call with the BA Amex Premium Plus card.
I guess I have a normal-ish spend, i.e. shopping, fuel, food, entertainment and holidays, with the odd business expense thrown in. So, with my Virgin Atlantic Rewards Plus card in hand, I have decided to catalogue my path to my 2021 luxury points holiday with a monthly blog to see what is actually possible and whether it is worth while for ‘Joe Public’ to benefit from this type of card or if they only beneficial to ‘high’ spenders.
